FURTHER RESULTS. By Telegraph—Press Association. Hawera, April 28. The Xlayoral 'election resulted as follows:—E. L. Barton 34!), .'lames Foy 100. For the vacancy in the Council A. Reid was elected by 248 votes to 218 recorded for R. J. Hughes. Thames, April 28. The election of Mayor lcsiiited:— Henry Lowe, 509; Frank Clayton (the retiring Mayor), 482. Picton, April 28. For the Mayoralty Gordon Maitland defeated the sitting Mayor, Mr. MacCormick. by 59 votes.
