At the Magistrate's Court to-day Ifrancis Alexander MeMinn was charged with intimidating Xeil Shields by discharging firearms at the hitter's dwel-ling-house, and. further, with demanding ndmitance to Shields' hon-e. Accused was also charged -with discharging firearms in the bnrou'.'h to the great annoyance of residents. MeMinn will also be charged with assault ins Mark Lavhonruo and Edwin Pratt, each, it is alleged, being hailed up bv the nccu-ed. The cases arise out of the scenes in town last Moiulnv ni'iht. when Qnirkc was shot, and the allewd c-capades of accused led to the belief that Powelki was concerned in each. The ca=es were adjourned to the 23th.
