At the X T ew Plymouth green on Saturday, Clarke's rink, which won the tournament, played off. Clarke and Fookes ■played Bishop and Waugh, Bishop winning. Bishop and Waugh played off for choice of Avery's prize, Waugh receiving 7. Bishop won easily.
All matches on the New Plymouth! green are now completed In the final 1 for the Westport Coal Company's medal for beginners, Medley beat h. GoldwaterJ For Avery's medals for pairs, A. K.i Smart and Dr Walker beat H. Smart' and Oattly. The final for the Handicap. Paird was won by Davy and Bishop. S.[ ltundle won the Champion Singles in the final from Hill. This match has been | divided into sections, but a large num-j ber did not play .by the stipulated time. In Hill's section he and Morey had Ave wins each, and in Rundle's section he, had the most wins. Morey gave a nye to Hill, so the match was played off between, them. I
S. Rundle also won the Handicap Ragles, beating Jenkinson in the final. ' The green is to be closed till 30th 1 April. It shows great wear, as never' before has BO much play taken place as .this season. The Club's mascotte, "Little Georgie." a hoy of four !old, has been a great' frequenter this season, and takes great interest in the .players. When the green closes he will miss his old friends.
FITZROY v. WAITARA. The Fitzroy Bowling Qui) Sent four* rinks to Waitara yesterday. The local bowlers treated them right royally and gave them a good game. The visitors' won by 08 points to 80. The scores were as follows, Fitzroy being mentioned first in each instance:— j
