I'liE AsSUCIATIi.'N CAME. NEW PLYMOUTH CLUB. There was a good muster of Soccerites at the. annual meeting of the New Plymonth Association Football Club held In the chili's rooms in Devon-street East last night. Mr. . Dunn occupied the chair. The balance-sheet was read and adopted, showing; a credit of assets over ■liabilities of £2O 5s 2d. Dr. E. A. Walker was re-elected president. Dr. E. Faber Fookes. Dr. D. Blackley, Messrs. G. Tisch and'G. F. Brodie were re-elected vice-presidents. Mr. 0. H. Fenton was re-elected hon. secretary. Mr, W. Hedlcy was re-elected hon. treasurer. The General Management Committee is: Messrs. B. Gwilliam, W. Goddard, J. Holmes, E. Elliott, W. Hed■ley, and C. H. Fenton. Messrs. Elliott and Fenton were appointed delegates to the TaranaJri Union. It was resolved to enter two tean J for the Julian Cup. The membership totals 42, an increase of 20 members since last season. It was decided to play Wanganui at Ne«- Plymouth at an early date, with a return match at Wanganui at the latter end of the season. _ It was decided to promote the establishment of a referees' association in Taranaki. Votes of thanks were passed to the chairman, secretary, and the Press.
