WELLINGTON CHAMPIONSHIP. By Telegraph.—l'res* As*oemr. Wellington, Last Night. The Wellington provincial lawn vcbnis championship tournament was concluded to-day. The results of the remaining finals are: Ladies' singles: Miss Nunelley beat Miss Travers by (i—7, (i—4. The ladies' doubles final I Mrs Holmes and Miss Bathain v. Misses Nunnelley and Williams, was started late, and adjourned when each side nad won a set, 6—4. The match will be re-plaved o« Thursday. In the combined double# Mr Brown and Mis's Nunelley beat Mr Salmond and Miss Travers. THE WANGANUI TOURNAMENT. VVanganui, Last Night. In the men's champion singles at the tennis tournament to-day, Powdrell beat "Wybourne in the semi-finals, Morpath beating Butterworth. The winners play off. In the final of the ladies'' championship singles Miss Brewster beat MifS Cave. In the third round of the men's champion doubles Caplen and Sellars beat Morpath and Snelling, and Wybourne Bros, beat Morton and Webster In the semi-finals of the ladies' dounles, Misses Williams and Wilson beat Miss Lork and Wilson, and Mrs Jones and Misg Powdrell beat Misses Simpson and Brewster In the third round of tHe combined doubles Miss Simpson and Swainson beat Miss N.
