Horner (who was Unionist M.P. for North Lambeth from 1900 till -1908, but only polled 108 votes in the latter year) was sentenced to six weeks' imprisonment in the second division for 1 hoaxing the Daily Mail by telegraphing, under'the name of a local correspondent, •false news respecting Mr. Lloyd-George's reception at Falmouth on Bth January.
