THE BILL ACCEPTED. By Cable.—Press Association.—Copyright Received March 13, 5.5 p.m. Ottawa, March 12. The Canadian Parliament, by 11!) to 78 votes, finally accepted Sir Wilfrid Laurier's naval policy Bill.

The Bill provides ior the construction of four or five cruisers of the Bristol type (4800 tons, 43.000 horse-power, 27 knots, eight 12-inch and sixteen 4-inch guns), six destroyers, and three submarines. Of these some will be stationed on the Atlantic seaboard, and others on the Pacific. The Bill also provides for the maintenance of the dockyards at Halifax and Esquimault.
