THE PATTERSON ESTATE.
A DIVIDEND LWvELY. By Telegraph.—Press Association Napier, Last Night. After the Court resinned to-day the parties in the Patterson case entered into negotiations with a view to a settlement, and if possible arrangements will be made for the payment of a substantial dividend to the creditors. Later. The civil action, Assignee in Bankruptcy v. Lavinia Patterson, claim ior re-tit'ution of moneys alleged to have been wrongfully transferred to defendant by her husband. Mr J. J. Patterson, solicitor, of Dannevirke, which has occupied the -attention of the Supreme Court for two days, was struck out by agreement this afternoon, a settlmcent having been arrived at by the parties. Defendant has consented to pay the Assignee between £3OOO and i'4f)oo for distribution among her husband's creditors.
