Lillis is a batchelor, whose age is stated to be 97. A maid in Cudahy's employ stated that she heard a scuffle, and found Liilis on the floor with a rope round his neck and his feet and body stripped from the waist downwards. A chali'eur wiio I was assisting Cudahy placed a revolver to her head, and she thereupon fled. The police came in response to a telephone message sent by Cudahy's wife. The latter states the attack on Lillis) was the culmination of a long course of Cudahy's brutality against her. FURTHER PARTICULARS. WARRANT OUT FOR CUDAHY. Received March 8, 10.45 p.m. London, March ?. The Daily Mail's New York correspondent states that Cudahy's motorcar was found abandoned three miles from home. It is evident that Lillis was' entrapped. The State Prosecutor has issued a warrant for Cudahy's arrest. Lillis and Cudahy were previously intimate friends.
