PETROLEUM NEWS
Messrs. A. Carrick, F. Kneebone, and E. R. Ross, directors of the Standard Oil Company of Xew Zealand, have accompanied the managing director, Mr. P. A. Hadley, to Xew Plymouth on his present visit, and are to be joined here by the remaining members of the directorate on Wednesday. Matters are reported to be progressing very satisfactorily at the company's bore on the Carrington road. The Taranaki Petroleum Company has been advised that the Hon. R. McKenzie. Minister of Mines, will yisit the Moturoa bores at an early date. The Taranaki Petroleum Company has supplied to a local bodv in the Palmerston Xorth district quotations for supnly of waste crune ptroleum for iise on the roads.
