DALAI LAMA'S NARROW ESCAPE. By Cable.—Press Association.—Copyright London, February 24. Lord Minto and Lord Morley are discussing the policy of sending someone to meet the Tashi Lama. A Reuter message states that the Chinese hotly pursued the Dalai Lama night and day. On arriving at a ferry he left his escort to engage his' pursuers, and thus gained time, but was pursued to the borders of the Sikkim country.
