THE COAL STRIKE.
A BIG ORDER. By Cable.—Press Association—Copyright Sydney t February 25, The Amalgamated Miners' Association of Broken' Hill demands the removal of Judge Rogers from the bench for making a political speech in sentencing Bowling and others'. ANOTHER DEVELOPMENT. Received February 25, 11.30 p.m. Sydney, February to. There is still another development in the Newcastle negotiations. The secretary of the Federated Enginedrivers' and Firemen's Association has' applied to the Wages Board to be allowed to intervene in the proceedings, in order that members of his organisation should not be subject to discrimination when the question of re-engaging hands for the mines is considered. Judge Seholes, in refusing the application, said the petitioner must go to the Industrial Court to ask for a special board. It is understood the application was founded on the belief that the owners' present attitude in refusing to take back all employees is aimed at the Enginedrivers' Association.
