TROUBLE IN THIBET.
CHINESE INVASION. By Cable.—Press Association.—Copyright Pekin. February 23. The Chinese have been subdued in Eastern Thibet. It is stated that the Dalai Lama intends to appeal to the Indian Government.
The Tashi Lama is staying at Shiga ts'e. The Chinese troops sustained reverses, losing 400 men and some guns in an ambush.
Ethergrapiis have now been established to Lhassa, and 200 mountain guns' of Japanese pattern nave been sent to the front.
