PALMERSTON REQUIREMENTS,

By Telegraph.—Press Association. Palmerston N., Last Night,

A conference of delegates from the Borough Council, Chamber of Commerce, and Stock Auctioneers' Association to-night decided that a deputation should wait on the Minister for Railways and urge that the early morning train from Waipukurau run through to Palmerston, and that the early train from Masterton be resumed and connect with it at Woodville to bring stock buyers on here. It was also resolved to urge on the Minister the inadequacy of the accommodation at the Palmerston station.
