The Socialist body Known as the "International Industrialists" to-day organised a demonstration of protest against the imprisonment of Peter Bowling and the other strike ler.i. .; r . Several hundreds, after being wv.rned by the police, processioned the streets, headed by a red Hag and singing revolutionary songs hooting the Premier (Mr. Wade) and cheering the imprisoned leaders. Passing Darlinglmrst Gaol, a posse of police captured the flag and scattered the procession and arrested six leaders, namely, Feldhausen, Anderson, Considinc, Riley, Hansen and Morris, on charges of behaving in an offensive man ner in the public fctreets. THE CONSPIRACY CHARGES. Received February 8, 9.30 p.m. Sydney, February S. 'The hearing of the conspiracy charges against Bowling and the other leaders was resumed to-day. Brennan was still ill, and stayed only a few minutes in the court. The Crown case has closed. MINERS' DELEGATE BuARD. FAVOR TAKING A BALLOT. Received 9, 1.10 a.m, Newcastle. February 8. The Miners' Delegate Board decided to recommend the miners 1 lodges to immediately take a ballot as to w(ieth»r they should be represented on the Wagos Board. The proceedings were lively. A section of the delegates strongly deprecated any weakening in regard to the strike, or having anything to do with the. Wage's Board.
