The Taranaki Petroleum Co. has derided to proceed with deeper boring at No. 3 well also, and a start is being made to-day. Sandpumping of the debris thai, has ■accumulated at the bottom of No. 2 bore was being carried on yesten'ay. and, if possible, further boring, wit! a view cf testing the deeper levels, will be resumed to-day. On the Wellington Stock Exchange yesterday, Taranaki Petroleum shares ( £1 paid) were quoted at 0s (buyers) and 10s 3d (sellers). No sahs were recorded.
