A PROPOSAL REJECTED. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Received February 3, 10.5 p.m. London. February 3. An important meeting of wool buyers* unanimously rejected the suggestion of the committee of the colonial wool importer* to abolish the draft allowance of a pound per hundredweight. The wool buyers consider the abolition would lead to serious trouble throughout the trade.
