-THE WELLINGTON TEAM AGAINST AUSTRALIA. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The selection committee to-night picked the following team to represent Wellington against the Australian eleven: Br ice, Upham, Schmoll, Midlane, Hickey, Malioney, Hawthorne, Tucker, Dr. Foster, Blacklock and Kinvig.

The Saturday competition will be resumed next Saturday—i.e., last Saturday's matches will be continued on their respective grounds, as already arranged. Mr. A. Bewley, secretary to the North Taranaki Cricket Association, says that there 'will be no difficulty in raising the guarantee of £75 for a match between Taranaki and the Australian team Jit New Plymouth.
