DISAPPEARS FROM A MINT. By Telegraph. —Press Association. Received 1, 12.55 a.m. Sydney. January 31. A parcel of gold mysteriously disappeared from the Mint. A few days ago the finger prints of the staff were taken. It is alleged that an officer has dismissed through this system of investigation. The authorities are extremely reticent, hut it is believed the amount is not large. The Mint authorities refu-e .information and add that enquirers would have to go to London to get it.
