FATAL FIRE AT ROTORUA

MAN BREAKS HIS NECK. liy Telegraph.—Press Association. t Rotorua, Tuesay. A lire broke out last night in Goodson Bros.' goods shod. A number of horses in the stalls underneath were supposed to have been taken out, but one was found badly burned about the face, and another left throughout the lire was uninjured. Two firemen and a stranger got on the roof of a lean-to, which fell in. The stranger, named (irierson, broke his neck. Fireman Chilton had a leg broken aud internal injuries. Another fireman named Leach had internal injuries. No one had been in the building since Saturday. Goodsone are heavy losers, as a large quantity of goods was stored in the building.
