HEWITT'S PICTURES. The exec'"- '- grammes put on at the Theatie i:.> 1 under the above management arc drawing large audiences. Mr. Hewitt promised something extra good for the holiday week, and be has more than kept his word. The films are well varied, being highly instructive and mirthful, while several of the series are magnificently colored, the effect being striking and pleasing. Altogether there is oyer 7000 ft of film, Which takes a good. two and a-half bours to run through, the audience receiving quantity as' well as quality. The scenic pictures include "Cigarettemaking," ".Naval Pageant on the Thames," "School 'in New Guinea," "Niagara in Winter." The dramatic subjects are exceedingly well chosen and considerably above the average. 'Amongst others, "The Trappers," "A Life for a Life," "Virginius," and "Jessie, the Stolen Child," are well worth witnessing. The programme will ■be repeated in its entirety at the Theatre Boyal to-night, and we can confidently recommend our readers to yittend.. UpF
