Sydney, December 21. Jfrs. Street was found nut guilty of the murder of Healey. The ground of the verdict was that accused was temporarily insaue.
The tragedy in question was revealed at Newcastle last July. The police entered a house at Wickham, a Xeu'casLlc suburb, uud found the dead body of Hie man Healy, while the woman .Street, was lying beside him. As a constable entered, the woman placed a revolv.r m her ear, but it misßed fire. She had also taken chlorodyne, but not in a dangerous quantity. The police had reeeived a letter intimating that both cf them intended to die together. Street stated that the man shot himself tli—previous night. She had not the courage to do the same. Healy was a married man, with live children. Street is al'so married, and is living apart from her husband, who is believed to be in New Zealand.
