A SCHOONER WRECKED
AT RAROTOXGA. By Telegrai h,—Press Association. Auckland, December 17. The steamer Taluiie ; which arrived from Rarotonga, reports that the schooner Aliec, which was chartered in Sydney by the Cook Islands Trading C oinpany, drifted ashore on a reef at Rarahanga Island, in the Cook Group, last, month, and was totally wrecked. The crew lauded safely.' Captain ix-lirocder, of the Alice,'was a passenger by the Tillune.
