Wellington, December 8. Hie Commerce and Tourists' Department, in the produce report leaflet issued ycstei day, imports substantial increases in the quantities and values of exports for the month of November, when compared! with November, 1908. The values of the chief 'products exported were as follow: -Mutter, (100S)) £245,0(i1, (1008) : £210.0.10; cheese, £111,084 and £83,218 respectively; beef, €23,080 and £B4l-->-mutton. 143.2:17 and £4,>,441; mutton legs, LM2O7 and £114; bonh, £17.803 and C2i.>2: mils, £.15,170 mul £14,303hemp, L'3ii,4lS and £28.153; rabbits, £15,017 and £10,014; tow, £lß2l ami I £2571 ; kauri gum, £30,01i0 anil £32.1711; grain anil pulse, £0340 anil £5214; hops, £2174 and £803; hides, £14,050 and £11,048; skins, £71,700 anil £31,578; tallow, £18,071! and £34,807; wool, £224,420 and £.141,012; gold, • £150,022 and £180,802. The figures for 1000 are taken from the interim Customs returns, and are subject to correction. The grand total viilum for the last month were £1,070,402, or £i208,021' more than for November, 1008.
Tor the eight months ending November 30, 1008, the exports were valued at £7,501,077, and for the same period of 1000 at £0,732,483, or an increaso of £2,170,701.
