Taumarunui Licensing Committee, an application was made on behalf of Ricuardfl Lawson, of Raurimu (King Country) for a .wholesale license there. Mr. Quilliam, for the applicants, said a large petition had been signed by the residents in favor of the application, but it was not to hand in time for presentation to the committee. He gave an assurance that the premises were not 111 the native area and that there wore no legal objections of any kind.
