AN INFANT DROWNED. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Eketahuna, November 30. A child, twenty months old, belonging to Mr. and Mrs. W. Nagel, of Rongomai, fell into a creek near the bouse ou Sunday and was drowned. At t»o inquest the jury returned a rider that iirst am should be taught in the public schools. FATALITY AT AUCKLAND. Auckland, November 30. George Leyland, aged 05, foreman at Messrs. J. J. Craig and Co.'s stables, was killed instantly by the collapse m the floor of a loft in which oata were stacked. I
