CO-OPERATIVE CONTRACTS.
A COMPENSATION CASE. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Dunedin, Last Might. A question of some importance in connection with co-operative contracts disposed of by judgment of the Arbitration Court to-day. The parents of Patrick Lawless sued the Public \\ orks Department for compensation for bis death. A co-operative gang bad been assigned a piece of work on the Catlins Railway construction, and they arranged with one Seholes to provide a how; to draw trucks.
