FEDERAL POSTMASTER-GENERAL'S STATEMENT. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright Melbourne, November 2d. friir John Quick, Federal PostniauttvGeneral, is not aware of any renewal of the negotiations in connection with the All Red route. He says it is proposed to confer with Canada with regard to the Vancouver mail service, as a rental of the contract from year to year is an unsatisfactory arrangement. The object of the conference is to consider whether the contract shall i*>t be pi iced on a more permanent basis.
