Knwbia, writes under date November 11th as follows:--' Will you kindly make known that on Monday, Bth hist., about 3 p.m., a carrier pigeon arrived here, very tired and hungrv. Tt had a ring on one leg, with ■N.P.'IOOS, 241,' on it, and also a rubber ring on the other leg. but as it was rather shy we did not catch it. From the letters X.P. we concluded it was a New Plymouth bird. It vested here a day and we gave it fond, and then about, midday on the 9th it started away again. After circling round several times, it headed away s'outh ami passed out of sight. I should he glad to hear of its safe arrival. 'Te Koraha' is about night miles inland from Kawhia harbor."
