KING'S BIRTHDAY SPORTS. The committee of the Amateur Athletic Club met last evening, and appointed the following officials for the meeting on !tw ... L ilt:—Judges, Messrs. J. ' McKean and J. H. The nominations closed last night, and th* events have filled quite up to expectations. The 100 yards will have to be contend in heats, eleven having entered. The 220, 4411, and half-mile have also filled well. So far four entries have be.'n received for the catch-as-catch-can wrest, ling event, which promisee to be a big draw on the programme, and some capital bouts should be witnessed. As the event is post entry, the committee expects to have jcveral more entries on the day. The bicycle races promise to he interesting, anil pood finishes are looked for. The "round is beginning to look well, and with attention the going should be good ou Tuesday next.
