ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
FOUND DROWNED. jjy Telegraph.—Press Association. Wanganui, Last Night. An inquest held to-day on tho body of a middle-aged man named John Gibson which was found in the river. A verdict of found drowned was re : turned. The body had been about ten days in the water. Thejre was no evi' dence to show how it got there, A GRUESOME FIND. Wellington, Last Night. - A woman's body, much decomposed, was found on the beach near Otaki today. It is supposed to be the remains of Amelia llcini, a domestic servant, aged 24 years, a native of Scotland, who has been missing from Wellington since April last.
