BALLOT FOR TE AKAU SECTIONS. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, Last Night. The. hallot in connection with the thirty sections thrown open for settlement by the Government in the Tc Akau block, which was purchased {rem the Maori owners, took place at Ngaruawahia to-<lay, there being no fewer than 1071 applications allowed from 455 individuals for the nine hlocks of firstclass land. The successful applicants for the sections in their order are : —W. Campbell (Palmerston North), E. T. Fraser (Feilding). S. Mcflowan (Pahiitua), W. W. Drikcv (Otakeho). T. Morton (Feilding), L. McCuire (Tuakau), J Milne (Raglan), Chns. Heaver (Hawcraij E. Snodgrass (Masterton); section lof block 0 remains over; Rosina Robinson (Auckland). F. Boyd, junr. (Kaikoura), H. G.
