POPULARISING ITS SALE. By Cable.—Press Association.—Copyright Capetown, October 18. The members of the wine-producing district have accepted the Government's compromise. A Bill will be introduced authorising tho sale of locally produced wine on a cheap license, not subject to local option. Personal feeling against Mr. J. X. Merrlman (Premier) is very strong and mis seriously prejudiced his prospers for the Premiership of United South Africa.
