SEAMEN LODGE CLAIM AGAINST UNION COMPANY.

Maxwell claimed £25 damages irom the Union Company in connection with his alleged wrongful dismissal fro n the steamer Waitcmata, owing to his refusal to accept lower i/ages than those signed on for. He applied that the matter be moved to the Supreme Court, and the Magistrate adjourned the case, for a week in order to give counsel an opportunity to bring the matter before a Judge.
