OVER 1200 APPLICANTS FOR 30 SECTIONS. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, Last Night. Applications dosed to-day for the 30 blocks of land into which the Te Akiui block has been divided, viz., nine lots of first-class land and "21 second-class. At the Auckland office over tiOO applications were received, and at Ngarunwahia 030. On Wednesday {lie Land Hoard will leave for Ngaruawahia, and will sit there on Thursday to examine the applicants, and the ballot will be taken the next day in the public hall.
