NEW PLYMOUTH CLUB. The Ne vv Plymouth Homing ('lull's race from Ongaruc, a distance of seven!y miles, eventuated yesterday. The birds 50 in number, were liberated by the etationmaster at noon, and put up good times, despite the fact that there \v.\* a very strong westerly wind hlowi-ig from the time of liberating. The results were as follow.—E. Ward's Harness (velocity 044 yds). 2hr Smin, 1; G. Curney's Moodier (velocity !)38vds). 2hr 4 mill 7see., 2; V. Beal's'Nimr'od (veloctv 03! yds), 2hr 2min lsec, 3. The next race will be flora on the Ilth inst. from Tc Awamutu.
