FIRES.
TARIKI HOTEL DESTROYED. The Tariki Hotel was burnt to tin ground at 2 o'clock yesterday morning. With the exception of a few personal effects that were saved, everything in the building was destroyed. Mr. C. McMsisters owned the building, which was a. two-storey one, comprising twenty-five rooms. The licensee was Mr T. H. Sims. The cause of the fire is not known.
