AN ACCOUNTANT'S SUICIDE. . Auckland. October 5. Mr. John Sutherland Rutherford, a single man 50 years of age, an accountant at the local office of the HuddartParker Company, shot himself through the heart early this morning in a cottage where he resided in Jermyn Street. Deceased's mother is in Dunedin and a married sister in Christehurch. He had been despondent. His accounts are reported to he in good order.
