ALLEGED THEFT. isy Telegraph.—Press Association. Palmerston N., October 4. Archibald Muir appeared before Mr. A. D. Thomson, S.M., at the Magistrate's Court on remand on the first of a series of charges of theft from the National Mortgage and Agency Company, Ltd., and was further remanded until next Monday, when all the charges wJI be taken together. Bail was given at the amount previously fixed, £OOO. SLY-GROGGER FINED. Wellington, Last Night. For s'lg-grog selling in Wellington a young man named John Millantc was fined .£lO.
