THE ATTORNEY-GENERAL'S ENQUIRY. By Telegraph.—Press Association, Wellington, Tuesday. ' An enquiry instituted by the Attoras to whether the area in which wholesale licenses were granted by the Tauraarunui Licensing Committee was or was not native land at the issue of the proclamation Tesultcd in Hie establishment of the fact that it was not native land at the time. That being so, Dr. Findlay says proceedings cannot be taken to attack the grant ci licenses.
