BURGLARS AT WORK.
LONG BURN STORE ROBBED. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Palmcrston N., Tuesday. Perry s general store, at Longbun. was entered by burglars late on Sun- ' aml goo<!s valued at £7 and £lO ill cash removed. An entrance was effected cutting a piece out of a glass panel door and lifting an irj.-i bar that secured it. The gSods taken included boots, some clothing and ail assortment of electro-plate. So far no clue has been obtained. A SECOND CASE. Palmerston N., Tuesday. A second burglary is reported by th« police, oodrofl'e and Company's 'store, almerston North, having been entered and goods valued at £2O and £3O in money removed. An entry was obtained through a back window, which wag smashed and the catch unfastened.
