FIRE ABOARD THE LUCANIA. THE VESSEL PARTIALLY SUBMERGED. By Cable—Press Association.—Couyriga Received 10, 10.20 p.m. London, August Hi. A Hcrce lire broke out in the liner Lucania's steerage quavlt'is when file was at Liverpool. The lire spread to the saloons and hold and burned for fifteen hours. The flames could not be extinguished until the vessel was partially submerged. The Lueania was completely gutted from the funnel forward.
