At the Otflgo University Council meeting to-day, the committee previously appointed to devise ways and means of utilising Mr. Studholmc's offer to endow a chair of domestic .economics presented -their report. They found that the annual cost would be £7OO, namely, £6OO for salary and £IOO for contingencies. Towards this there would be available Mr. Studholme's contribution of £2OO and the Government subsidy thereon for a like amount.
