ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
The mangatoki tragedy. By Telegraph.—-Press Association. llawera, Tuesday. Enie Bill, 11 years of age, died last night. She was the third victim of the Mangatoki burning fatality, which occurred on .Idly 3. Mrs. Bill and her four-year-old child died shortly alter the sad occurrence.
DIED AT SEA. Wellington, Tuesday, D. M. Nevin, a passenger by the Tongariro from London, died at sea On July 21 and was buried shortly afterwards. The cause of death was apoplexy and pneumonia. Deceased was a clerk.
A SUDDEN DEATH. Christehurch, Lust Night. Mr. Lyttelton, packer and storekeeper at Cust, wai, speaking to a customer yesterday when he suddenly expired. At the time of his death, lie'was W.M. of the Moeraki Masonic Lodge,
ACCIDENT TO A CARPENTER. Wellington, Last Night. A young carpenter named Daniel Jiarltrop slipped while working to-day on the upper door of a building ;n course of erection at Willis street and fell to the bottom, striking the timtars as he descended. Barltrop's skull was fractured, and he in a serious condition at the hospital.
