Thi! annual meeting of the Taranaki Employers' Association will be held at the Town Hall this evening at 8 o'clock. Mr. .Cornwall notifies that the second term of his Choral Society has commenced, and that he will he pleased to receive the names of vocalists intending to become members. The practices during the last term have been interesting mid instructive, and some good results have been attained. The society, assisted by an efficient orchestra, intends to give their first concert at an early date. This should he a great treat to be looked forward to. The members of the New Plymouth choral society and those kindly" assisting -in the orchestra are notified that tin- practise will he held to-night in t.iu Wlnteley Hall. All the members are requested to attend punctually.
