MISSING BANK TELLERS. Sydney, July 10. | James Martin Fitzsimnions, a wellknown bank teller, left Melbourne on a holiday. His whereabouts since have been a mystery. An alleged shortage of between £OOO and £IOOO has been discovered in his cash. Kenneth Allen, a teller in the Commercial Bank of Australia at l'rahran, yesterday fatally shot himself with n revolver at the bank premises, after the close of the day's business.
AL'STRALIAN SEAMEN'S AGREEMENT. .Melbourne, July 10. An agreement has been signed between the Waterside Workers' Federation ami the Australasian Steamship Owners' Federation, under which the wages throughout the Australian coast, particularly the coast of Queensland', will be improved. The workers also secure preference to unionists. The settlement of disputes is to be left to the Board of Conciliation at the port concerned.. The agreement is to run for two years.
