iWESTI'OBT SITTINGS. I By Tblegrupii.—Presa Association. > Weston:, Last; Mght. The first,sitting of the Supreme Court at Westport took place to-day, Justice Cooper presiding. In the pur jury charge against Mrs. O'Brien 110 bill was returned. .Peter Cuinming.s was charged with unlawful carnal knowledge of a girl under sixteen years of age. His' was found guilty , with a strong recommendation to mercy. Tn e Judge stated he would have the probation officer's report by this morning, and if it were favorable lie? would consider the recommendation, but not otherwise. Civil anl licensing cases are set down for hearing to-morrow.
