EARTHQUAKE IN CANADA
CAUSES A GKEAT PANItt * ' Received 17, 9.55 p.m. Ottawa, May 17. An earthquake occurred at Winnipeg and was felt for 500 miles west. It shook the people at Regina and MOOM out of bed, as well as shaking off article* on mantlcpieces and on ship shelve*. The duration of tie shake was a mf*ute. The earthquake caused a great panic.
