DEATH FROM EATING TOADSTOOLS. By Telegraph,—Press Association. Auckland, Mav 13. A young daughter of Mr. Dan McLean, of died m the result of eating poisonous toadstools. A WOMAN'S DEATH. Dunedin, Last Night. Lucv Kingston, a single woman, employed as a domestic servant, whose parents reside at Maori Hill, died in the hospital last- night under circumstances which necessitate the hol/lin'g of an inquest. She was admitted to the institution on Tuesday. She declined to make a statement as to tin* cause of her illness. A post mortem was held on the body by Dr. Uoherts to-day. An inquest was opened this afternoon, hut was adjourned to enable (he police to make further enquiries.
