MEMORIAL INSCRIPTIONS.

To the Editor. Sir,—A good deal of fuss is being mad« about the names of the members of the memorial executive appearing on the Marsland Hill monument; but I have heard nothing about the suggestion made in your columns some mouths ago in respect to placing a tablet on the monument to the memory of those brave divines, including the Rev. Father Roland, who succoured the wounded and exposed their lives during the war. I suggest that the committee give up their intention of inscribing their names on the monument and place thereon the names of the divines instead. Hoping the suggestion will be taken up and acted upon,—l am, etc., CIVIS.
